What is Wiki Robar and how do we put info. into it? I see that it has been accessed 85 times – probably 75 of them are from me. I have this blog set up on my pageflakes so I see it multiple times a day, I always look for new posts…I guess that means I should really start posting. It is great to hear from everyone and Cheryl cool pictures.
The Wiki is supposed to be a place we can put info that doesn’t really fit into the blog structure. The idea was a place we could put biographies, recipes, or any info we wanted to share with each other.
The reason it isn’t up and running is that I haven’t got around to fixing the login process for it. Right now it would require a separate registration and login, but I think with some tweaking and code rewrites I can get it to share the login info with the blog, so that once you’re logged into the blog you can access the Wiki.
Up until now, there weren’t that many of us on here, and it slipped my mind. Looks like its time for me to start tweaking some code.
I’ll see if I can’t get that implemented in the next couple days. I’ll give an update as things progess.
Thanks,
Kurt
OK, I will make a more official announcement once I do more to make the Wiki “pretty”, but users are now able to login to the Wiki. Just click the “log in” link at the top right of the Wiki page, and use your name and password from the blog to log in.
I think it’s set up to allow creating new entries and editing existing entries if you are logged in. If you run into any problems, or have any questions, let me know.
Maybe later we can add a how-to for both using the Wiki and using the blog, or at least link to some existing how-tos.
