Another summer gone

Well, summer is coming to a rapid close. I had a great time in Anchorage this summer. If you are on MySpace or Facebook you should check out my summer photo album, especially the intense photos from my rafting trip down Six Mile LOL But I made it through all my adventures safe and sound and am now back home in Fairbanks with school starting up next week. This will be my last year of school, and I will be graduating with my MS Geology in May. Kris and I will be moving to Anchorage next summer where I will be starting a job as a geologist for BP at the end of June! We are very excited to be getting out of Fairbanks and settling into “the real world” with no school (and no tuition bills!). The concept of making money instead of spending it sounds pretty good to us by now :)

    Cheryl,
what a cool picture!!!! Must have been a …. of a ride! The even greater news though is your job with BP next summer. Congratulations! What a load must be off your shoulder to know you have a place to go to when you graduate next year that you like and ‘even’ pays you money.
Good luck to you and Kris and make the most of your last winter in Fairbanks.
