I've been doing a bit of research lately, and the tree goes from Stephen Robar (b. ~1872 in Austria), his children were Cyril, Marie, Rose, Stephen Jr. (Steve), Emma, Alfred, Leona, and Louise. Of course, the give-away was that you were born here in Anchorage. Was your father also known as "Buddy"? My Dad and Uncle Ben probably know more about it... My grandfather and father were both named Steve Robar, my grandfather had a brother named Cyril. I was borne in Anchorage in 1961. Never got to know the Robar side of the family.
