Yes, you are a member of our family! I've been doing a bit of research lately, and the tree goes from Stephen Robar (b. ~1872 in Austria), his children were Cyril, Marie, Rose, Stephen Jr. (Steve), Emma, Alfred, Leona, and Louise.

Of course, the give-away was that you were born here in Anchorage. Was your father also known as "Buddy"? My Dad and Uncle Ben probably know more about it...

I see you've registered for the site already, I'll send you an email too.

Nice to see you on here,
Kurt

Just trying to find out if I am part of a lost branch of the family tree. My grandfather and father were both named Steve Robar, my grandfather had a brother named Cyril. I was borne in Anchorage in 1961. Never got to know the Robar side of the family.

Thanks for being the family social secretary. I really do appreciate it.

Sorry we missed the last one. Jim was (and is) in Manokotak. I had just gotten back from yet an other FUN trip to Alabama and had not checked my e-mail yet. I was too pooped to have gone anyway.

Kevin has moved back. He starts work here on Monday.

Cheryl,
what a cool picture!!!! Must have been a .... of a ride! The even greater news though is your job with BP next summer. Congratulations! What a load must be off your shoulder to know you have a place to go to when you graduate next year that you like and 'even' pays you money.
Good luck to you and Kris and make the most of your last winter in Fairbanks.
